Taumarunui Administration Building

59-63 Huia Street, Taumarunui

The Tamarunui Administration building houses approximately 60 Council staff and includes the Taumarunui Council Chamber, Councillors' Supper and Resource Rooms and most of Council's records. The building complex, which comprises part refurbished buildings and part new construction, was completed in December 2007 and occupied by Council in January 2008.

Taumarunui Library

Hakiaha Street, Taumarunui

This property was extended and upgraded in 1984 and houses the Public Library run by Council.

Ohakune Service Centre (Office and Library)

Ayr Street, Ohakune

This building houses between 6 - 8 staff members and, when the building was refurbished and extended in 2006, the Ohakune Library was relocated from Clyde Street to Ayr Street.

Raetihi Agency (Office and Library)

Cr Duncan/Seddon Streets, Raetihi

This building incorporates a Council Chamber and an annexed Library. A NZ Post Agency and Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages is also located in this building.

Ruapehu VIsitor Information Centre

Clyde Street, Ohakune

The construction of this purpose-designed building was completed in 2008. This building is a landmark design on the main thorougfare through Ohakune.
