Purpose
To
determine successful grant applications in accordance with Council’s Grants
Policy
Meeting Frequency
Once
annually.
Operating Principles and Practices
- Operate meetings according to
Council’s Standing Orders.
- Require staff to prepare management
reports assessing grants applications, as per Policy.
- Authorise the Chairperson to make
statements to the media accurately and reporting decisions of the Committee.
Area of Responsibility
Administration
of funds made available to support Council’s Grants Policy.
Delegated Authorities
To
approve Grants to the amounts available in the fund and authorise staff the
make payment.
