Operative District Plan

The purpose of the District Plan is to assist Council to promote the sustainable management of natural and physical resources. The District Plan contains the “rules” of the District. It explains what activities are allowed and what activities require consent.

The District Plan was operative on 8 May 2000. Copies of the District Plan and Planning Maps are available to view at libraries and Council Offices in the District.

Copies can also be purchased by contacting the Customer Services Team on (07) 895 8188, or by completing the Contact Form below.
