Appeal Process

The Appeals period has now closed.  Council is working with the Appellants on matters of appeal. 

How Does this Affect the Processing of Resource Consents?

The Appeals period closed on 20 February 2012.  There are a number of provisions where there has been no appeals.  Therefore, those rules and conditions are being "Treated as Operative" (this means that the Operative District Plan provisions will no longer need to be considered).

However, where provisions were appealed, the rules and conditions of both the Operative District Plan and the Plan Change (Appeals Version 1) will both need to be assessed until a decision is made on the appeal.
