Operative Ruapehu District Plan

The
purpose of the District Plan is to assist Council to promote the sustainable
management of natural and physical resources. The
District Plan contains the “rules”
of the District. It explains what
activities are allowed and what activities require consent. The District Plan was operative on 8 May 2000. Copies
of the District Plan and Planning Maps are available to view at libraries and
Council Offices in the District. Copies
can
also be purchased (see Fees and Charges Manual for cost) by contacting the
Customer
