Join the Plastic Free July Challenge
The Plastic Free July Challenge is a global movement that helps millions of people be part of the solution to plastic pollution.
All you need to do is go to
plasticfreejuly.org and click on the "Yes! I will take the challenge!" link where you find heaps of resources and ideas to reduce single-use plastics waste every day at home, work, school or wherever else you happen to be.
Ruapehu District
Council provides a range of workshops where participants can upcycle materials
to use as alternatives to plastics such as Boomerang bags, No-sew bags and
beeswax wraps.
If you would like
to participate in any of the workshops or would like more information contact
