The final results for the 2025 Ruapehu District Council elections have been declared today.
The results show no changes from the preliminary results released on Monday.
Voter turnout reached 51.07%, with 4,302 voting papers returned (including special votes) - up from 48.9% in 2022.
Weston Kirton has been re-elected as Mayor.
The Māori Ward will be retained, with 2,098 voters choosing to keep the ward.
The Elected Councillors (in alphabetical order of surname) are: John Chapman, Robyn Gram, Viv Hoeta, Channey Iwikau, Kuru Ketu, Rabbit Nottage, Luke Pepper, Brenda Ralph and Korty Wilson.
